Especially with the weather getting warmer I get partial to a white wine spritzer, however now i'm thinking about what ingredients are in my drinks I had to find a wine that suited the credentials I wanted. I came across Oxford Landing, a Sauvigon Blanc wine in Tesco, they also sell this in the Co-Op (and probably others but I have just found it in these so far). I always used to have a Pinot Grigio with lemonade but this is a perfect replacement. It tastes delicious (it goes down extremely - be warned!) and more importantly, it's so clearly labelled (please see below picture).
As I mentioned, I much prefer a spritzer, but the same criteria I apply to my alcohol needs to apply to my lemonade. The Co-Op are really good for this, all their own brand items are labelled. I found the above right picture Lemonade with a lovely clearly vegetarian & vegan label on the front which was super! A few weeks ago I found out that a very popular brand includes Fish Gelatine in most of it's drinks, quite disgusting! So I was very happy to find this to go with my vegan wine.
Also all the Co-Op's Fairtrade White Wine is suitable for Vegetarian's & Vegan's which is handy, so some of them are next on my list! A perfect drink for those long summer evenings (or a night in!). The Co-Op is a head liner for cruelty-free, all their own brand cleaning household products, cosmetics etc are leaping bunny approved. A very reasonable & accessible source for cruelty-free!
