Suprisingly my make-up bag isn't filled to the brim, I only have a few every day wear essentials. I was using The Body Shop make-up range. But since on my product 'journey', I have been leaning more towards Vegan products where I can. I now use only LUSH (the LUSH Colour Supplement & Mascara I use are Vegan Society approved, please see my blog for more info) & Superdrug B. make-up.
B. is Superdrug's own brand of make-up (and skincare), like all Superdrug own products, these are Cruelty-Free International approved (reassuringly, you can see the leaping bunny on all their own brand products). And most of their products are suitable for Vegans as well as Vegetarians, its really good they label these very clearly on the back of their products (another major plus for Superdrug).
B. Set Sheer Finish Pressed Powder Times had got desperate. I was down to my last crumbs of my body shop powder. I decided this was the opportune moment to give B. a try! I am certainly happy I did! I chose the Medium 46 (looking on the website this looks like a really dark colour-but its not at all - don't be scared!) This is a great powder, keeps my shine down and gives my face a lovely matt finish (this also works very well with my LUSH colour supplement). This is a lovely looking compact, but the only downside is it doesn't come with its own powder sponge. I had some extra sponges from Superdrug & have discovered the compact manages to close with the sponge still in it. This powder is priced at £7.99 (Superdrug do run quite a few offers on the B. range regularly so do go in & check!)
B. Dramatic Bold Liquid EyeLiner I have found over time that a liquid eye liner with a pen like structure is MUCH easier for me to use. I at least wear eye liner every working day especially - this is perfect. I do a top line on my eyelid with a flick, as it really is like using a felt tip it is so easy to control. I would say this lasts a fair while, considering I use it nearly every day I only have to change about once a month. Again, as it is Superdrug own, this liner is suitable for Vegetarians & Vegans and is Cruelty-Free. This liner is priced at £5.99 & for me, well worth the money.
B. Glowing Shimmer Block I haven't yet used this product as I am waiting to use the last bits of my previous Body Shop Shimmer Wave but they are extremely similar colours. I went for Just Peachy in the B. range, im fairly light skinned (I do get a nice tan if I ever see the sun!) but bronzing looks ridiculous otherwise so I tend to go for peachy tones. Again, like the powder, i'm sure this shimmer will work fine on top of my LUSH Colour Supplement foundation. This shimmer block is priced at £8.99, you hardly use any shimmer as the purpose is to just cover your cheek bones slightly, so they last for ages!
