Now the weather is turning nice and hot, finding things to cool us down are essential, be it a glass of wine (and) or a nice cool, calm pamper. This last week most mornings & evenings I have been putting on a nice cold face mask from the fridge. I'm going through my LUSH face masks (as I seem to have brought a few at a time - whoops!). Catastrophe Cosmetic is a new one for me, now I tend to only buy vegan products, especially from LUSH (they're so good at their labels!).
Catastrophe Cosmetic contains blueberries which protects & soothes the skin, calamine - always gentle on sensitive skin, chamomile - used for its calming and soothing qualities, rose and almond oils. This product is vegan and contains all natural products (as always with LUSH).
This mask smells a little more floral than I would usually go for but there is a lovely undertone of blueberries and who doesn't like blueberries?! As you can see from my 'vogue' close-up above, this mask goes clay like and dries very hard on the face. Once taken off, this mask leaves me skin smooth (as always with the LUSH face masks, I haven't had a bad reaction yet with my sensitive skin) and I feel super fresh!
This mask is priced at £6.50 for a 75g pot. You need to keep their fresh face masks in the fridge as they contain natural products and need to be preserved in cold temperatures. They last about 3 weeks in the fridge and of course depending on how often you use the mask etc. I have only just finished mine and used it every day this last week and mostly every other day two weeks prior to that (sometimes I just put it on my t-zone - need to control the oil!).
A great product, yet again LUSH pulls it out of the bag!
