I LOVE a good face mask, I feel it makes the perfect pamper session. I had only tried two of the Lush fresh face masks before, Oatifix and Love Lettuce. I much preferred Love Lettuce, I do like the clay type effect with the masks I use. I chose:
- Vegetarian Society Approved
- £6.50 for a 75g pot
The smell of this mask is great, very herbal, fresh and a slight lavender/Aloe scent which I find always relaxing. This mask goes on easy, you should give yourself a generous layer and it can be a bit fiddly to spread with the chunks of seaweed in but persevere! It is SO worth it. While in the shop I was recommended the Cupcake mask but I personally feel that would be too rich for my sensitive skin (i'd also fear i would try to eat it it smelt so yummy!) I love how this mask leaves my skin after use, so smooth and yet not dry or tight. Most of the time I have to apply moisturizer after to help my cheeks but no need with this. Super soft skin, and it feeds my skin with goodness! My blemishes have also gone down in the last week, I think from the combination of using this calming face mask and my new Lush Colour Supplement foundation, I am not loading my skin up with chemicals & harsh ingredients.
With combination oily/dry skin & sensitive skin it is so hard to find products that don't do anything bad to your skin. Either make you oilier, dry your skin out or put you in a rash! One of the things I love about the Lush products is they don't hide their ingredients, they are truthful and you know you're not putting anything bad on to your skin, nothing harsh and nothing hugely unnatural!
I would recommend this face mask to anyone wanting to relax, have smooth skin and generally wanting to pamper your skin. The other fresh face masks I have tried were good as well, why not pop in to one of the shops and talk to an expert-there's something for everyone!
